Lazari’s proposed housing design approach has been guided by the different character areas around the site and surrounding communities. It also includes a large open space courtyard for the public to enjoy, complete with a play area for children.

The proposed development creates a gradual transition in the height of the buildings from the High Road to Bury Road. The scheme features set-back blocks at the upper levels. The proposal includes two eight-storey blocks facing the High Road and two lower scale terraces fronting Bury Road.

As part of our planning process, Lazari have designed this development in line with the aspirations of Haringey Council’s Wood Green Area Action Plan and have ensured that the proposal will complement future development of the High Road as part of our wider master planning exercise.

We understand that the nearby former Marks and Spencer shop unit may shortly be redeveloped and we have been liaising with them to understand how the two schemes can complement each other.

We also know that a proposed route for Crossrail 2 may pass nearby to the proposed development. We have been working with Transport for London to understand how the designs may need to adapt or re-align, should the route come past this site.
